B200 Silica Fiber Blanket (1800ºF Shot-Free Silica Insulation Blanket)

B200 Silica Fiber Blanket (1800ºF Shot-Free Silica Insulation Blanket)

B200 is a nonwoven needled mat made from a new generation of high performance patented silica fibers. It provides excellent thermal and acoustical insulation properties up to 2000ºF. The distinguishing characteristics of B200 blanket which set it apart from other silica products is it's cotton-like soft touch and conformability to irregular shapes. B200 is also non dusting and non irritating, and it's 9 micron fiber diameter is non-respirable making handling safe and easy.
Microporous Silica Insulating Boards (Mintherm / Microtherm 1925ºF Grades)

Microporous Silica Insulating Boards (Mintherm / Microtherm 1925ºF Grades)

Microporous insulation is silica based material in the form of compacted powder or fibers with an average interconnecting pore size comparable to or below the mean free path of air molecules at standard atmospheric pressure. Microporous insulation may contain opacifiers to reduce the amount of radiant heat transmitted. This composition results in a material with exceptionally low thermal conductivity (lower than dormant air). Each board is individually encapsulated in polyethylene foil to make it resistant to moisture. It is also available in a flexible form with or without cloth encapsulation.
Refrasil UC100-48 & UC100-96 (1800°F Silica Cloth)

Refrasil UC100-48 & UC100-96 (1800ºF Silica Cloth)

(2)
Refrasil is high strength acid-leached amorphous silica cloth that is specially made to maximize both temperature resistance and room temperature physical strength All Refrasil silica cloths are manufactured to contain silica contents of at least 96%. This silica level is necessary to obtain a temperature resistance of 1800ºF (982ºC). Traditionally high silica cloths possessed low tear strength low breaking strength and poor abrasion resistance which made them undesirable for demanding industrial applications and fabrication Low silica cloths, primarily imported cloths, are below 95% silica content While possessing higher strength at low temperatures becoming brittle and friable at temperatures as low as 1300ºF (704ºC) ...
Silica Braided Ropes (1800°F Silica Ropes)

Silica Braided Ropes (1800ºF Silica Ropes)

(21)
Silica ropes retain strength and flexibility in applications with temperatures up to 1800ºF (982ºC). They also offer protection against molten metal or extreme radiant heat. Silica is completely fireproof and with its high purity silica (SiO2) content (96% minimum) it protects against contamination in high temperature environments.
Silica Tapes (1800°F Silica Tapes)

Silica Tapes (1800ºF Silica Tapes)

(20)
Silica woven tapes retain strength and flexibility in insulation applications at temperatures to 1800ºF (982ºC). When spiral wrapped over Pipes, hoses, or cables, they offer protection against molten metal or extreme radiant heat. Silica is completely fireproof and with its high purity silica (SiO2) content (96% minimum) it protects against contamination in high temperature environments. All silica tapes are available with pressure sensitive adhesive to facilitate wrapping installations. Upon exposure to the service temperatures that justify the selection of silica materials, the organic adhesive is completely decomposed and disappears.
Nextel & Silica Sleeving (1800°F+ Silica Sleeving)

Nextel & Silica Sleeving (1800ºF+ Silica Sleeving)

(41)
Nextel (2300ºF) and Silica (1800ºF) sleeving retain strength and flexibility in applications requiring extremely high heat resistance. They also offer protection against molten metal or extreme radiant heat. Both Nextel and Silica are completely fireproof and protect against contamination in high temperature environments.
